White Rugs, Cream & Ivory Rugs

White rugs, cream rugs and ivory rugs are a classic look for British homes (and even more so in other countries - especially those lucky enough to have dry weather and so less mud on shoes!) Customers are always torn between the simplicity and freshness of white flooring, and the practicalities of keeping it clean and fresh looking. Rugs at least have an advantage over carpet in that you can move the around, and take them outside for a thorough cleaning.

Rather than the "brilliant white" of white paint or cotton shirts, a rug pile tends to produce a softer, slightly duller white, especially wool which usually creates subtler, more natural tones. White rugs tend to be "natural white" "ivory white" or "off-white," especially on comnparison to painted white walls.
